Conversation of the Week– What is the instructor’s role in the flipped classroom?

The concept of flipping the classroom raises may questions. How does my role as an instructor change? Do I have to flip everything in my class? How do I decide what should be flipped? How do I deal with student resistance to an active learning environment? This week’s video discusses these and other questions as well as strategies to address the questions raised by active learning environments. What are your questions about flipped learning? Do you have strategies that work for you in flipping the classroom?

Presentation date: October 13, 2014 and on demand for one week
